About ME

I am a Portland based artist, with an eye for chalk work and hand lettering.  As a kid, I found the repetition of writing and spelling words over and over soothing and I was mesmerized by watching teachers scribe lessons on the chalkboard. Most of my early summers were spent in my Grandmother's studio learning to add flourish and form to enhance images and script. I often find myself in the midst of art history, lifestyle and calligraphy books puzzling bits together for design and layouts.
